This week we have been learning all about Easter. We had a visit from Rev. Mike Morris from the local church, who came in to talk the children about the Easter story and why we celebrate it.
Many of our children enjoyed an afternoon of fun, crafts and photos with their Mums to celebrate Mother’s Day.
After coffee and cake, the Mums joined their children throughout the school and had a lovely afternoon.
On Tuesday 25th March, GB athlete Steve Frew visited GTS to complete a fitness circuit with the children and deliver an inspirational speech! See the PE curriculum section for more details.
We really enjoyed our World Book Day. The children (and staff) came to school in their PJs and shared what they love about reading. Two highlights of the day were our fabulous book swap and when our children mixed year groups and shared their favourite stories with each other.
