What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers. Click this link for more information about Pupil Premium

Schools have also received recovery premium funding to limit the impact of Covid-19 on children's academic progress and well-being. At Glastonbury Thorn School, the recovery premium has been used to employ additional staff who are responsible for Pupil Premium support and fostering positive well-being. In-house tutoring is also in place.
