Remembrance Day - November 2024
WAIL: to understand the significance of an event in the past
The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about Remembrance Day and why we mark it as a significant event in the past. We firstly talked about what the past is and what happened during this time. We talked about why poppies are used a symbol of remembrance and had a go at collaging some in our creative area.
We also took part as a whole school in observing a minutes silence as a mark of our respect.
