Weather poems

Rain Poems

Chimps and Crocs class loved studying poems over the past 2 weeks. The children listened to different poems focused on a weather theme, they discussed what they liked about the poems. The children looked at different styles of poems and then spent time creating their own. These creative rain poems include adjectives, alliteration and onomatopoeia. When the children had finished their poems they had fun sharing these with the children in EYFS.
