Rushmere Visit

In April 2024 the Year 1 children visited Rushmere Country Park. This was a fantastic hands on opportunity for children to explore their learning and understanding of identifying and classifying animals, seasonal changes and also to conclude their learning of 'Where the Wild Things are' by Maurice Sendak. 

The children loved learning identifying different trees by studying their leaves, they enjoyed a mirror tree walk, nature bingo, creating hedgehog homes and creating their own natural paint pallet.
