Take learning outside into your garden

Ask your child to sit as quiet as the mouse so they can tune into the sights, sounds and smells under the trees.  Ask your child to focus on what they can see, hear, smell.  Ask your child to draw (or write) what they can hear, see and smell.  Ask them to feel the bushes, grass, trees.  How do they feel?  Talk about the different descriptions.
