Mr Cursley's Assembly: 1.2.2021 Talents!
We all have a talent! Sometimes this is hidden, but in lockdown we have been given a chance to reflect and be curious about ourselves. What talent do you possess or are you about to discover one very soon?
Please watch the following short video which compliments Mr Cursley's assembly:
Mr Cursley's Assembly 11.1.2021: Being kind and helping each other
While we are working remotely, with the main connection between us all being technology, it is important to remember that we can still be there for each other. Remember, stars shine brightest in the darkest of skies.
Mr Cursley's Assembly 9.11.2020: Remembrance
Learning Muscle: Reflection
Citizenship Value: Kindness
Remembrance is a time to think of others and reflect on how lucky we are to live in a world today where we have so much freedom and the right to be the person we want to be. At GTS, we must always show kindness to all, remembering that we all have a part to play in making others happy.
At the end of this assembly, there is a 2 minute video which can be used with young children as an alternative 2 minute reflection. This is a great video to provoke discussion with your child about WWI and the reason the poppy symbol is so significant.
Thank you
Mr Cursley

Mr Cursley's first assembly - Expectations
Due to social distancing, my assemblies are going online! The assemblies will be watched in class and hopefully re-watched at home. My first assembly is about our new expectations at Glastonbury Thorn School!
