Our Year 2 families had lots of fun answering questions on what the children have learnt this term. The children won!

Reading SPLAT Event

Parents had the opportunity to join their child for a read within school. The children really enjoyed reading with their families and sharing their favourite genres!

Maths SPLAT Event

(Stay Play and Learn All Together!)

Parents joined KS1 for a session of working together with their child, solving calculation problems and learning about the GTS Calculation Policy and the resources that we use.

Remembrance

At GTS, we are observed a 1 minute silence on 11.11.22.

In assembly this week, the children learnt more about the symbol of the poppy and why we celebrate Remembrance day.

Diwali

For our first 'Faith week,' the children learnt about Diwali and why Hindu's celebrate their special day.

Well done to our children for engaging in our thought provoking Harvest lesson.
