Phonics - practise at home!

All of the children at Glastonbury Thorn School are taught phonics two times a day. To aid your child's progress further, we have uploaded fantastic videos to assist you in helping your with your child's phonics learning at home. We recommend that you practise daily in order for your child to become a confident and fluent reader. Alongside this, please remember to read at least four times a week with your child.

Choose the correct Phase for the sounds that your child is learning in school (tab on left of screen) - if you are not sure which Phase to choose, please email your year group email address and we will let you know. Happy Phonics practise!
