WAIL: to use a rolling pin to roll dough.
WAIL: to push a cutter to cut dough.
The children had a fantastic time making gingerbread men, bringing the story of The Gingerbread Man to life! They learned valuable skills by helping to measure ingredients using scales, mixing the wet and dry ingredients, and predicting that this would form a dough. Once the dough was ready, the children rolled it out and used cutters to create their gingerbread men shapes. While they waited for their creations to bake, the excitement built! After tasting their gingerbread men, the children discussed the flavours and shared whether they liked gingerbread or not. It was a delicious and engaging learning experience that combined storytelling with hands-on baking fun!
