Whatever the Weather!

Year 1 have had a fabulous and very busy half term; learning all about the weather and seasonal changes through their exciting topic ‘Whatever the weather.’

They have had a great time exploring the outdoors to observe the changes in the weather and the seasons. They have learnt how to dress appropriately according to the weather, how to be seen and be safe in the dark, the interesting lives of nocturnal animals, the history of Guy Fawkes and Bonfire night and to retell the popular story of the ‘Owl Babies’ in literacy.

As you can see from the children’s amazing art work they have had a great time this half term.
