Soaring to success!

We are very proud of Mr Lewis Woodham (Giraffes class teacher) who bravely completed his sky diving challenge on May 14th with soaring success! Our children and staff alike enjoyed hearing all about his exciting experience in a special assembly, where Mr Woodham shared photos and video footage of him taking to the skies. The children learnt that even though Mr Woodham was very nervous he took a risk and did something totally out of his comfort zone to learn a new skill and take part in an incredible experience, one which he’ll never forget!

At Glastonbury Thorn it is not only the children that ‘every day get better in every way’ Mr Woodham is proof that the adults do too!

Thank you to everyone who very kindly donated to show their support, he was thrilled to smash his target and raise a total of £1200 for the Willen Hospice.
