Planting Seeds (Growing Beanstalks) - April 2025

WAIL: To know that some plants grow from seeds (planting beanstalks).

Inspired by the magical tale of Jack and the Beanstalk, the children have had a wonderful time planting their very own beans! With great excitement, they followed each step carefully—choosing a pot, adding soil, making a little hole, popping the seed in, and giving it a good drink of water. The beans are now sitting proudly on the windowsill, soaking up the sunlight.

We’ve been learning all about what plants need to grow—air, soil, sunshine, and water—and the children are already showing such care and responsibility for their little green friends. They can’t wait to watch their beanstalks grow tall… who knows how high they’ll reach!
