Pirate Day!

Our Year 1 pupils had a great time celebrating all they had learnt through their topic ‘By the sea’ in a special end of term ‘Pirate Day!’ The children and their teachers came to school dressed as pirates and enjoyed a variety of exciting activities. They walked the plank, climbed the rigging and mopped the decks during a fun PE lesson, worked together to make pirate hats, flags and ships, went on a treasure hunt and decorated and enjoyed eating biscuits in an end of the day Pirate party! The children were very busy Pirates indeed and loved learning through this fun topic.
