Beach Day
Linked to our History and Geography topic of the seaside, Year 1 enjoyed a Beach Day at school. We started the day with an amazing Punch and Judy puppet show by Professor Diamond! He made us laugh so much and told us all about the puppet shows you used to be able to see on every beach in the UK!
After our puppet show, we were able to play with the puppets ourselves and Professor Diamond showed us his flea circus, they were very talented performers!
In the afternoon, we went over to the GTS beach and built sandcastles, ate ice lollies and played beach games with our friends.
We had an amazing beach day!
