WAIL To make a healthy lunchbox

Success criteria: I know what foods make a healthy diet

                           I know I need different foods to be healthy

                           I can make a healthy lunchbox

 

Make a list of foods you like and dislike.

Watch Fit4Me Power point and complete quiz.

Look back at the list of foods you made earlier. Draw the food you like into the eat well plate. Which groups do the things you like fit into?

If you could have anything you liked in your lunchbox, what would you have? Would they all be healthy foods? Design your own school lunch for your lunchbox.

Don't forget to use the eat well plate to help you make healthy choices.

Wednesday 13th January

WAIL To design a healthy sandwich

Success criteria: I know what foods make a healthy sandwich

                           I know I need different foods to be healthy

 

Learning journey

The children we be designing a healthy sandwich, making choices based on their food group learning from yesterday.

 

Watch

We would like the children to make their sandwich, so perhaps guide them towards things you generally have in your cupboards. We do understand if this is not possible. Thank you.

This lesson with Ms Glover revisits rhythm, and the children using symbols to represent them.
