                            make up the Union Jack

Learning Journey

Revisit learning from last week (Shenley Church End and Milton Keynes), and how we were able to see the United Kingdom is surrounded by sea. What else we did learn about the United Kingdom? (made up of four countries) What are the names of the countries?

Work through the PowerPoint discussing the countries and flags. Introduce the capitals of the four countries. Children to label their diagrams using the four countries and their capitals, the flag design and the surrounding seas.
