For today's lesson you are going to apply what you have learned over the past two days.

Thursday:

WAIL: I know what a prefix is and how it is used.

 

Think back to the work we did last week on prefixes.  We are going to loo at them again today. 

Attached, you will see a game that you can print out. Once you have cut them up, mix them all up.  Then see if you can match the prefix to the correct root word. 

 

Friday:

WAIL: To know how different prefixes change the meaning of words.

 

Play a game with the prefix definition cards: Pick a card, say the word.  See if you can identify the prefix and say the meaning of the prefix eg. Non-fiction.  You respond with saying non and means not.
