Good morning Chimps and Crocodiles and welcome to our new Funky Friday page!
For todays main activity we would like you to use and apply some of the skills you have learnt. You should have had a MME message to ask you to choose a recipe that you can make today.
We would like you to read your recipe with your grown up and find the bossy word (imperative verb) Then we would like you to follow your recipe and make your dish. Please can you send us a photograph showing your finished master piece and/or a photograph of you creating your dish.
What we would really like to do is create a lockdown cookbook so please share your recipes too. You can be as extravagant as you like - it would be great if we had recipes from every continent! Equally feel free to create a simpler dish if you prefer.
WAIL To use imperative verbs
WAIL To measure accurately
For a PE work out please consider creating an account with go noodle. Its free to subscribe. Go Noodle can be found in the App store or by following the link below.

Handwriting - always good to practise! Watch the pencil to remind you how to form you pre cursive letters correctly. In school we practise most days!
Can you write your full name and the date (remember we don't join our letters up yet, we are just mastering the lead in and out for each letter)
Challenge - can you write your recipe out beautifully ready for our cookbook?
WAIL To form our letters correctly
It's Music Time!

To write the rhythm of a song using musical symbols
To read musical symbols
To follow musical instruction
Today you will be working through Lesson 4, Notating Songs, with Ms Glover. After this, we will be practising the Glastonbury Thorn School song. This week we will be practising verse 2. Sing up and have fun!
A couple of nice links to finish - Storytime
Can you think of something that rhymes with your name?
(You'll need to stop it after 10 minutes otherwise you see half a craft activity)
What food do you have to eat that you don't like?
