Thursday the 4th March is World Book Day. We want to save celebrating our love of books for when we are all settled back into school. Please feel free to explore the World Book Day page (link below) that is full of free books to read and activities that your child might wish to explore.
"A book is a dream that you hold in your hand." — Neil Gaiman
Here are some activities you might wish to have a go at
-Share your favourite books, stories or poems as a family
-Make a book mark to use in your favourite book
-Act out or retell yours or someone in your families favourite story
-Design a new front cover for your favourite book
Challenge
We would like to create a display of all our families reading together at home. Please take a photo showing your family reading together and post it on Tapestry or send the photo into school when you return on 8th March. Can you find any interesting or unusual places to read?
Let's see how many photos we can get for our display!
